Little Banchan Shop will give out a free cup of traditional rice cake soup to the first 100 visitors on January 22 from 11:00 am until we run out (limit one per person). Rice cake soup or 'tteokguk' is a traditional Korean dish made of disc-shaped rice cakes, beef brisket, scallions, egg and thin strips of dried seaweed (gim), in a clean anchovy broth. It is traditionally eaten on Lunar New Year day.
